Totally agree with this. I know that few games have had this luxury for the OG players but you might aswell be one of the first :)

I agree with you, that's why i've given multiple ways to fix the problem. Clicking to pick up was just one of the options and it'd be a hard skill to achieve in the skill tree. Also i like the melee idea aswell as nerfing the enemy waves a bit, maybe adding more types of enemies instead of just adding +1 to each wave

After playing for a few hours i can say a few things that are on my mind at the moment.

First of all, food is really annoying to collect after some time. Deers are really common and when archers kill them they just leave the food on the ground. A real hunter always collects his prey and rewards, so the archers should to; after killing the deer they should bring the food back to either the archery or the totem.

Second thing is, villagers are too slow with collecting items in general. Going left and right to collect the items and put them in the center totem is a huge pain after a while when u unlock a bigger section of the map; Either make some villagers that will collect stuff only and do it quicker, and make some kind of a building connected to the totem that they can deposit the stuff in (i know that there's a storage but i'm just giving ideas). Or make an unlockable skill worth 2 or 3 points that when you click an item that's on the ground it instantly goes to your inventory.

Third thing is combat AI; villagers are REALLY low IQ when it comes to fighting. Archers will stay in place and not actually go to where the other villagers are fighting with the enemies so you have to move them manually.

There's many bugs with the villagers behaviour but i can't list them since i can't clearly point them out. I'd suggest keeping an eye out for them or for people to respond to this if they know any.
